Andreas Charalambous

Founder & Player Development Specialist

Andreas Charalambous brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to youth development. Raised in Cyprus, he played for AEP Paphos FC, gaining firsthand experience in a competitive European football environment before transitioning into coaching and player development.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing and Management and completed his coaching and talent identification qualifications in England through The Football Association. During his time in Manchester, Andreas coached grassroots players and worked within community football structures, helping support youth development initiatives.

Beyond the field, Andreas has experience in the sports technology sector, collaborating with professional clubs across Europe to integrate data-driven insights into performance development. This blend of traditional coaching education and modern performance understanding shapes his structured, player-centered approach.

In addition to leading ACES, Andreas serves as Director of Soccer and Head Coach at Cornerstone Classical Academy, where he has played a hands-on role in building and developing the school’s soccer programs. As Head Coach, he led the middle school boys’ team to a runners-up finish in 2025 before guiding the team to an undefeated season and the Middle School Championship in 2026.

This experience, combined with his work across grassroots, school, and competitive soccer environments, allows him to support players at multiple stages of their journey.

Coaching Approach

Andreas’ coaching philosophy centers on clarity, detail, and development with purpose.

Every session is designed to be structured and engaging, with clear objectives and measurable progression. Players are challenged to think, make decisions, and execute under realistic game conditions — while still maintaining the creativity and enjoyment that make soccer special.

Training focuses on:

  • Technical quality and ball mastery

  • Speed of play and decision-making

  • Confidence under pressure

  • Game awareness and positional understanding

Equally important is the environment. Players are encouraged to take risks, learn from mistakes, and build resilience. Standards are high, but the atmosphere remains supportive and positive.

Whether working with beginners or competitive club players, the goal is the same: help each athlete improve with intention and leave every session better than they arrived.
